Lyon County commissioners approved several measures during their action session Thursday.
Commissioners approved signing a contract with Urban Collaborative for updates to the county’s zoning and subdivision regulations. The county’s cost is a little over $76,000. This step is the latest in a city-county effort to streamline and update regulations at both levels for residents.
In addition, commissioners approved a bid letting for a jail chiller project. Estimated cost will be around $120,000.
Also, commissioners approved the purchase of eight box culverts for the Road and Bridge Department. McPherson Concrete will supply the culverts at a county cost of over $91,000.
