The Flint Hills Antique Power Association held its annual tractor show this weekend.
Dale DeLong opened up his property at 1420 Road 210 for two days of activities and, to a certain degree, a living history lesson. Among the participants was Tami Edmiston, who is one of the few women involved in the club.
Edmiston says her dad also had Farmalls, one of the two featured brands at the show, so naturally she gravitated towards that brand.
Edmiston helped with the antique haying demonstrations, one of several demos of a bygone era. Besides the antique tractor and equipment show, residents had a chance to watch a wheat threshing demo, hay baling, corn shelling, binding, harvesting and plowing.
