Emporia Fire crews handled a small fire Friday for their law enforcement counterparts inside White Auditorium.
Fire Capt. Ryan Conley says the department was notified of a possible fire affecting a Police Department vending machine.
The call was made around 12:45 pm.
Conley credited quick action by the Police Department for minimizing the damage. There was no extension past the vending machine. There’s no word on whether any contents were damaged.
