The Emporia State women’s basketball team finished 4th in the nation in home average attendance this past season among Division II teams.
The Lady Hornets averaged 1,756 fans per home game. It’s the 15th straight year the Lady Hornets have finished in the top 4 and 21st year they have finished in the top 6.
Northern State led all Division II schools averaging 3056 fans. Fort Hays State was 2nd averaging 2053 fans. Augustana was 3rd. The MIAA was first among all conferences.
Among Division I schools Kansas State was 32nd averaging 3,411 fans. Kansas averaged 2,034 fans. Wichita State averaged 1,998 fans.
The Big 12 was 2nd among the Division I conferences. The SEC was first. South Carolina led the nation averaging over 13,000 fans per home game.
