Preparations continue as the Lyon County Fair is just around the corner.
The annual County Fair will begin August 2nd and run through the 11th. Lyon County Fair Board Chairman Ken Duft was a guest on Friday’s Newsmaker Segment and says there is an abundance of ways to purchase tickets.
Duft also says thanks to a new component this year, fairgoers will have more opportunities to take in live music.
Of course, as every year there is a wide selection of grandstand events starting with the antique tractor pull on August 3. Other grandstand events will include the ranch rodeo, 4H night, the buck rumble and roll and a concert featuring 1990 Grammy award winners The Kentucky Headhunters on Thursday, August 9th, tickets are $30 at the gate and $25 in advance.
