Day 1 of the PDGA Junior World Disc Golf Championships is in the books.
Trenton Wilbanks of Choctaw, Oklahoma leads the boys 18 and under division. After the first two rounds he is 15 under par. Emporian Drew Baker is tied for 15th place at 8 under par.
In the girls 18 and under division Esther Schultz of Baton Rouge, Louisiana is in first place at 2 under par.
In the boys 15 and under division Zach Arlinghaus of Edgewood, Kentucky is in first place at 11 under par. Emporian Isaiah Esquivel is tied for 2nd place at 10 under par with Simeon Schultz of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Isaiah says playing on the home courses is a plus.
Emporian Donovan Esquivel is in 3rd place in the boys 12 and under division at 1 under par. He is 2 strokes back of the leader, Anthony Anselmo of Kings Mountain, North Carolina.
