One person is dead after being hit by a train in Osage County recently.
The Ottawa Herald says 54-year-old Linda Henderson of Topeka was driving a pickup Saturday when she tried to cross a railroad track east of Quenemo. Instead, a westbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe hit the truck. Henderson was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s unclear why Henderson tried to cross the tracks.
