One person was transported following a rollover crash in north Lyon County late Wednesday night.
According to Lyon County Deputy Tera Titus, shortly after 9:30 p.m. an SUV driven by 23-year-old Tasha Cooper of Admire was westbound on Road 330, about a mile east of Admire when she failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to roll into the front yard of a nearby residence. Cooper complained of head and neck pain and was transported by ambulance to Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. Her injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. A LifeTeam helicopter also responded to the scene along with Emporia Fire/EMS, Fire Districts 2, 3 and 7.
The vehicle rolled several times, coming to rest on the driver’s side. A juvenile passenger was not transported.
The crash remains under further investigation from the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
