The Emporia Recreation Commission meets Monday evening with essentially three meetings in one.
The board will have its end of the year special meeting closing the books on the fiscal year 2017-18, along with a budget hearing and the regular monthly board meeting. It’s also the first board meeting for its newest appointed member Melissa Ogleby who represents the Emporia School Board on the commission.
Among the discussion points in the regular meeting, will be a preview of an upcoming joint meeting with the Emporia City Commission July 25 as well as the steering committee meeting concerning expansion options for the Lee Beran Recreation Center.
Monday’s meeting begins at 5:30 p.m.
