The field is set for next weeks Kansas AAA American Legion State baseball tournament.
Emporia Post 5 will be the host. They will be joined by Pittsburg, Salina, Great Bend, Newton, Nickerson, Leavenworth and Topeka. The State tournament will begin Wednesday and will use a different format. There will be 2 pools and the top 2 teams form each pool advance to bracket play. All games will be played at Sodens Grove.
