The Kansas City Royals held on for a 6-5 win over the Minnesota Twins Friday night.
Danny Duffy held the Twins in check thru 7 innings giving up 1 run on 5 hits.
Lucas Duda was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. A bloop single drove in 2 runs in the 1st inning. He singled and scored in the 4th and hit a solo home run in the 6th. Salvador Perez drove in 2 runs with a double in the 7th inning. Minnesota scored a run in the 8th and 3 runs in the 9th off the Royals bullpen.
