Is a proposed wind farm near Reading and Osage City about to take the next step forward?
Lyon County commissioners will consider a professional services agreement towards that end when they have their action session Thursday. Zoning Administrator Sam Seeley will present an agreement with Kirkham Michael for commissioner approval.
This comes as RES Americas continues its preliminary work on a better than 20,000-acre development between Reading and Osage City.
In other business, commissioners will consider final budget adjustment reports for this year and the 2019 budget summary for the Community Corrections Department. Commissioners will also consider whether to give County Engineer Chip Woods directions on vacating several roads, and at least six executive sessions are also planned.
The meeting starts at 8 am in the County Courthouse.
