An Americus man convicted in separate burglary incidents at Northern Heights and in Olpe earlier this year was sentenced Thursday.
Jace Sull, 18, was sentenced to two years probation with Lyon Community Corrections by Judge William Fowler. He was facing up to 40 months of jail time for his role in both incidents.
Sull entered a no contest plea in June to a charge of attempted aggravated burglary stemming after a stolen firearm was discovered in a vehicle at Northern Heights High School in February. He also entered a plea following an attempted aggravated burglary incident involving a vehicle in Olpe in May.
He and a co-defendant 19-year-old Chase Weaver were both involved in both incidents. Weaver is awaiting a sentencing hearing at 9:15 a.m. Aug. 23.
