The Storm Prediction Center has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of the KVOE listening area.
Chase and Greenwood counties are involved until 9 am. The SPC says wind gusts as high as 70 mph and hail up to the size of limes, or 2 inches in diameter, are possible as storms move through the area.
Earlier, isolated storm coverage led to a severe thunderstorm warning for southwest Coffey County on Saturday afternoon. No severe weather was reported.
Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms is possible late Sunday night into early Monday.
