COTTONWOOD FALLS — Chase County authorities are still looking for the suspect who allegedly stole a truck earlier this month. The truck is also at large at last word.
A red Chevy or GMC 1980s model truck was stolen July 17. One of the initial reports after the theft had the truck coming towards Emporia on US Highway 50 although both suspect and driver were also spotted near El Dorado Lake either the 17th or 18th.
The suspect is a white or Hispanic male with a short haircut and a beard, according to video stills provided by the Chase County Sheriff’s Office. Other details are pending.
