An investigation continues after a car chase that went from Emporia to Hartford on Friday.
Samantha Scheve, 23, of Emporia, was arrested at the end of the chase in the 1100 block of Road W. Formal charges are pending.
Meanwhile, the investigation continues into the whereabouts of a man who reportedly jumped into Scheve’s SUV in the 1800 block of Meadowlark after a struggle with an Emporia Police officer. The man was not in the SUV when authorities stopped it, and investigators believe he may have gotten out of the vehicle at some point during the chase.
