Further details may be released Monday after an injury crash in Emporia on Saturday night.
Emporia Police Officer Sinjin Andrews says two cars collided at Sixth and West around 9 pm. Early indications are neither driver saw the other trying to get through the intersection when the crash happened.
One person was treated at the scene and was later taken to Newman Regional Health by private vehicle. Names have not been released.
