Isolated thunderstorm activity Friday prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning for part of Greenwood County.
Eastern Greenwood County, including Climax, Hamilton and Virgil, are in a warning until 10:30 pm after a storm cluster dumped an estimated 3-5 inches of rain late Friday afternoon.
This was the second straight day an isolated storm produced enough rain to trigger a flood warning for parts of Greenwood County. On Thursday, north Greenwood County, including Madison and Hamilton, were involved after an estimated 3-5 inch rainfall. No damage was reported.
