The St. Louis Cardinals out scored the Kansas City Royals 8-3 Saturday night.
The Cardinals scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning to break a scoreless tie.
Alciedes Escobar hit a 2 run homerun in the 5th inning for the Royals. Escobar also scored on a wild pitch in the 8th.
Manager Ned Yost says he is not surprised by the lack of offense.
