The Emporia City Commission has an action meeting planned Wednesday evening.
Commissioners will conduct a hearing accepting the 2019 budget for approval. They’ll also consider approving the city’s 5-year budget from 2019-2023.
Other agenda items set for approval, include an appointment to the Flint Hills Advisory Council, a resolution and possible adoption of the city’s Title VI Plan and a sustainability plan for the wastewater program. Also to be considered is a memorandum of understanding for the new Citizens National Plaza and Lofts and Preston Plaza and Lofts proposal by Haag Development.
One executive session is also scheduled. Wednesday’s meeting begins at 7 p.m. in Conference Room 1AB at White Auditorium.
