Two people escaped serious injury after a collision at the junction of Interstate 35 and Kansas Highway 99 on Thursday.
The two-vehicle crash developed around 4:30 pm. Both crash victims received on-site treatment by Emporia Fire and Rescue personnel. Both also declined additional treatment.
All other details are currently pending. Traffic was constricted at the wreck site for about half an hour as Emporia Police investigated and Lyon County deputies directed traffic.
