Chances of showers and thunderstorms return to the KVOE listening area by Thursday evening. This time, a low-end risk of severe weather is also attached.
Currently, the Storm Prediction Center has a slight risk of severe weather across the entire KVOE listening area. TV-13 meteorologist Doug Meyers says the best chance for stronger storms will be around sunset. Heavy rain is a possibility, but flooding is not.
Hail up to half-dollar size and wind gusts between 60-70 mph are the main concerns.

5 am Thursday: Hail, wind, brief heavy rain possible with Thursday night storms
After a dry day Wednesday, most of Thursday should be dry as well. However, storms are possible by evening and some could be strong to severe.
