The Emporia High boys soccer team is a week away from kicking off their season. The Spartans return 9 starters and 13 seniors.
Coach Victor Ibarra says they have all the right pieces.
Roberto Peralta is one of the seniors and returning starters. He was a first team all league selection last year.
The Spartans will hold a scrimmage Friday night. It begins at 6pm with the JV scrimmage. At 8pm the varsity will face the Alumni. The Spartans open the season next Friday against St. Mary Academy.
