The Emporia State Cross Country team is off and running. There is a new/old coach in charge. Mark Stanbrough has taken over as the head Cross Country Coach.
Coach Stanbrough was the Head Cross Country and Track coach at Emporia State from 1984-1992. They began the season with a team camp at Lake Melvern.
The men have 13 runners out and return 3 of the top 6 runners from last year. The women have 11 runners out including 5 of the top 6 runners from last year.
They will hold and Alumni Run this Sunday.
