Emporia State is abuzz with Hornets — the students, not the insects — as the 2018 fall semester began Monday.
Spokesperson Gewen Larson says it has been a busy summer, with a lot of infrastructure projects underway the past several weeks and months.
In addition, the Teachers College resource center has been renovated and given an expanded mission. ESU and Emporia Public Schools have had a wide-ranging partnership for decades, but the ongoing push to get reference materials online has made that physical space available for all Teachers College faculty, staff and students.
