Emporia Christian School is all set to begin the 2018-19 school year.
That was the sentiment shared by Principal Trisha Fullerton on KVOE’s Newsmaker Tuesday morning. Fullerton says with the new school year comes a new focus, namely community outreach.
Along with the focus of community engagement comes a desire to expand on preschool education as well. The school has added a new preschool room allowing for larger class numbers. She adds the focus on preschool education is an important aspect of the school’s system as it is the building block for the student’s educational future.
The school currently has 20 teachers on staff including three for preschool, six for elementary aged students and instructors for PE, Art, and music.
Classes at Emporia Christian School get underway Wednesday.
