The Emporia City Commission will have a rather short study session when it meets Wednesday morning.
In fact, just two items are up for discussion this week. Representatives from Flint Hills Technical College will discuss a possible funding request with commissioners and there will also be a discussion over a possible future so-called land bank for vacant properties in Emporia.
The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. in Conference Room 1AB at White Auditorium.
