Emporia Police are seeking the public’s help solving a recent theft of tools from a construction site in southeast Emporia.
According to Sgt. Lisa Sage the theft occurred sometime between Friday and Monday from a construction site in the 1300 block of East Logan Ave. Items stolen from the site included a brown colored “Knaack Jobox” toolbox, with tools inside. Over $3,000 worth of tools and fall protection harnesses were stolen. A photograph of a similar toolbox is online with this story at KVOE.com.
Sage tells KVOE News a suspect description is currently pending as investigators work to review surveillance footage.
