The Salvation Army of Lyon County will be distributing federal government commodities Tuesday.
Residents are invited to come out to the annex building at 209 West 4th Ave. between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Items that will be distributed include green beans, grape juice, pinto beans, diced tomatoes, long-grain rice, dry red beans and peanut butter.
Those who come out are asked to bring their own box to carry commodities and knowledge of household size and monthly income. For more information, contact the Salvation Army at 620-342-3093.
