An Emporia man who pleaded no contest to drug cultivation charges will spend time in prison.
William Ellis, 36, received four years nine months in prison as part of his sentencing Wednesday in Lyon County District Court. As part of his sentencing, he cannot have any contact with any victim or witness in the case.
Ellis and his wife, Octavia, were first charged in early May as part of an Emporia Police investigation.
