Part of Prairie Street will close next week for a water main repair.
Tuesday is the target day for closing Prairie between 15th and 18th. Underground Utilities Supervisor Mike Dvorak says a leak has developed on a 20-inch line. The street should be fully closed for up to six hours but should see one-lane traffic after that and should fully reopen later in the week.
Separately, Chase County Road and Bridge has closed Road 50 between Roads B to D for a bridge replacement project. The road is closed until further notice.
