The Osage City Indians overcame multiple penalties to shutout Northern Heights 28-0 Friday night.
Osage was led by senior quarterback Trenton Plintsky who was 13 of 17 in passing for 184 yards and rushed for 139 yards for over 300 combined yards. He had 2 rushing touchdowns and threw two touchdown passes. Plintsky praised his offensive line for helping generate the offense.
Osage City managed the win despite multiple penalties setting them back throughout the game.
Northern Heights was led by junior receiver Cameron Heiman who rushed for 74 yards.
With the win, the Osage City Indians start the season off 1-0 as Northern Heights starts off 0-1. Osage City will next host Lyndon Friday.
