The Emporia State volleyball team picked up their 2nd win of the season defeating Rockhurst in 5 sets in their final match of the Rockhurst Invitational Saturday.
The Lady Hornets defeated Rockhurst 25-22, 13-25, 25-23, 11-25 and 19-17. Jamie Hauptman led the Emporia State with 20 kills. Yuchen Du finished with 15 kills and 15 Digs. It was the first loss of the season for Rockhurst.
Earlier in the day Emporia State lost to Colorado Mesa in 4 sets, 15-25, 25-23, 20-25, 21-25. The Lady Hornets are now 2 and 6 for the season.
