The Emporia State football team continues to prepare for Thursdays showdown with Pittsburg State.
Junior Gary Woods says they like playing teams like Pittsburg State.
Woods said last weeks win at Northeastern State was a good starting point.
Woods was also selected to be one of the team captains, which he considers an honor.
Kick-off for Thursdays game between Emporia State and Pittsburg State is set for 7pm.
