The NCAA Division II football championship game will not be played at Kansas Citys Children’s Mercy Park in December as scheduled.
Sporting Kansas City has announced they have scheduled field renovations to begin after their season, forcing the Division II Championship game to be moved.
The NCAA has reopened bids for this year’s game, set for December 15th. Childerns Mercy Park has hosted the Division II Championship game since 2014 and was scheduled to be the host site thru 2022.
