The Emporia School Board has its first action meeting of September on Wednesday.
The agenda includes an update on kindergarten ramp up and a memorandum of agreement for a concurrent enrollment partnership between the district and Emporia State University. Superintendent Kevin Case will also give a beginning of the school year update at the meeting.
Additionally, the board plans to review the HTK Architects needs assessment having to do with safety and security. The board will also consider a bid for repair of the Village Elementary HVAC chiller.
One executive session is planned regarding personnel. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Mary Herbert Education Center.
