The Emporia High boys soccer team shutout Topeka Hayden 7-0 Tuesday.
Wilber Landaverde led the offense with 2 goals and 2 assists. Hector Hernandez also scored 2 goals. Alvin Arriola scored a goal and had 2 assists. Roberto Peralta and Kevin Rios each scored a goal. Anthony Sanez recorded the shutout in goal. The Spartans are now 6-1 for the season and will host Highland Park Thursday.
