Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been named the AFC offensive player of the Week for week 1.
Mahomes threw for 256 yards and 4 touchdowns in leading the Chiefs to a 38-28 win over the Chargers. Mahomes called it a team award.
The Chiefs play the Steelers in Pittsburgh this Sunday. Coach Andy Reid says they are looking forward to the showdown.
Kickoff for Sundays game is set for 12:00p. The game will be broadcast on Country 101.7FM.
