The Emporia High football team will be playing a rare Saturday game this week. The Spartans will face Legend High School out of Parker, Colorado in Scott City.
Coach Corby Milleson said the Saturday morning bus trip could be a good time to build more team chemistry.
The Spartans are coming off a win over Topeka West, Coach Milleson said he saw improvement.
Kickoff for Saturdays game is set for 3pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
