Madison dominated Hartford en-route to a 76-0 win, in Madison, Friday night.
The Bulldogs controlled the pace from the start forcing an early turnover and opening the scoring off an 18-yard touchdown run by Colten Fife. Just seconds later Madison recovered the ensuing kickoff and scored on the next play off a 31 yard Hunter Engle run. The Madison offense would score 7 rushing touchdowns and rack up 258 yards all on the ground.
The Bulldog defense added to the scoring with two interception returns and a fumble return for touchdowns. Madison was led by junior Nasun Wasson with four carries for 77 yards and a touchdown and a 45-yard interception return for a touchdown.
Wasson credited the win to strong play on both sides of the field.
Madison’s defense held Hartford to 41 yards of total offense. With the win Madison improves to 3-0 as Hartford falls to 1-2
