On Wednesday, the Osage County Sheriff’s Office reported “numerous” vehicle burglaries in Carbondale and Scranton. The agency is reporting more activity early Saturday, this time in Carbondale and Overbrook.
The Sheriff’s Office has not officially said how many vehicles in the three communities have been burglarized the past few days. Suspect descriptions are pending.

Deputies are using these crimes to remind residents to always lock their vehicles when they leave and not to store any sort of valuables like money, electronics or weapons in a vehicle.
