The latest in Emporia State University’s Governance, Law and Economics lecture series is coming Tuesday evening.
Dr. Jayme Lemke, a senior fellow and associate director of academic and student programs at George Mason University’s Mercatus Center, will deliver the talk on “Women’s Economic Rights: History and Why It Matters.” Lemke will offer her perspective on the challenges women have faced when it comes to the economic rights and opportunities that men have not had to face as well as their enduring impact.
The lecture is from 6-7 pm at the Memorial Union Preston Family Room. It’s free and open to the public. To register, email kochcenter@emporia.edu.
