Emporia States volleyball team was defeated by number 21 ranked Washburn 3 sets to 1 Tuesday night.
Washburn won the first set 25-13 and the 2nd set 25-19. Emporia State won the 3rd set 25-20. Washburn won the 4th set 25-17.
Youchen Du and Tatum Graves finished with 10 kills each to led Emporia States offense. Emma Dixon finished with 26 assists and Allie Maloney 18 digs.
The Emporia State volleyball team is now 6-9 for the season and 1-2 in MIAA play. They play at Central Missouri Friday and Lindenwood Saturday.
