The Emporia State football team is gearing up for a showdown with Lindenwood Saturday.
The Hornets are coming off a 20-17 win at Kearney. They used a 2nd half rally to win the game. Senior receiver/punter Tyler Harris said they may not have won that game if it were not for what they experienced last year.
The Hornets take a 2-1 record into Saturdays showdown at Welch Stadium. Lindenwood is 1-2.
