Three items are coming up for discussion when the Emporia City Commission meets during a study session Wednesday morning.
Up first will be an overview of the 2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report with auditor April Swartz with Varney & Associates sharing information with city officials.
Commissioners also will discuss a merger of the Emporia Human Relations Commission and Accessibility Advisory Committee. The recommendation is aimed at eliminating duplication among boards and commissions.
A finalized list of potential water fund projects will also be discussed for possible financing through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment’s revolving loan fund.
Wednesday’s meeting gets underway at 10:30 a.m in Conference Room 1AB at White Auditorium.
