The goal has now been set for the United Way of the Flint Hills’ annual fundraising campaign.
Drive chair Vicki Brooks had the announcement on KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Tuesday:
Brooks says the proceeds benefit over 20 community partners in Lyon County, surrounding counties and Woodson County.
This is a busy week for the United Way. The annual small Business Blitz is taking place Wednesday, while Wolf Creek’s annual golf tournament takes place Friday at the Emporia Golf Course.
