Potential travel issues related to fog are thinning out faster than expected, although fog may remain in place through mid-morning across the KVOE listening area.
A dense fog advisory for Chase and Greenwood counties has been canceled.

5:15 am Tuesday: Fog possible areawide; dense fog advisory for Chase and Greenwood counties through 10 am
Thick fog could well be a travel problem Tuesday morning.
A dense fog advisory is up for Chase and Greenwood counties until 10 am. The National Weather Service is expecting visibility to get down to a quarter-mile or less in a lot of locations in those counties and, in general, the southeast quarter of Kansas.
Elsewhere in our area, fog could persist through the morning commute — and even in Lyon County, visibility could get down to a half-mile in some low-lying areas.
If you’re driving, slow down. Use your low beam headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
We’ll keep you updated on KVOE and KVOE.com.
