One woman faces charges in Greenwood County after an alleged theft from a store earlier this month.
The Sheriff’s Office says the theft was reported at Eureka’s Dollar General on Sept. 18, but the two suspects were actually found in the Sheriff’s Office lobby trying to bond out the grandparents of one of the suspects — who were arrested earlier in the day for outstanding warrants.
Elexis Studer was formally charged with one count of theft, while the second person, a juvenile, was cited and released to his recently-bonded-out grandparents. The juvenile’s name is not being released. Word on upcoming court dates is pending.
