Hunter Doziers solo home run in the top of the 9th lifted the Kansas City Royals to a 4-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds Tuesday night.
Brian Goodwin singled to drive in Salvador Perez to give the Royals a 1-0 led in the 2nd inning. Ryan O’Hearn hit a 2 run home run in the 4th to give the Royals a 3-0 lead in the 4th inning. The Reds tied the game with 2 runs in the 5th and a run in the 7th. The Reds did have the bases loaded with 2 outs in the 9th. The Royals and Reds play again Wednesday night with Heath Filmyer on the mound for the Royals. First pitch is set for 5:40p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
