The Some Gave All fundraiser is packing a long list of activities into the Bushong city limits Saturday.
Activities begin at 10 am and continue just about all day, including a car show, auction, balloon release, family games, re-enactors and music provided by provided by Lee Muller, the Neighborly Brothers, Mark Summey, Jeanna Scheve and Doc Hinck.
Proceeds benefit the North Lyon County Veterans Memorial along with the USD 252 Honor Flight Program, What’s In Outdoors and other efforts. Memorial organizer Dianne Bedner-Smith says there has been a lot of progress at the memorial.
Most recently, the entrance sign has been installed. Fundraising is now focusing on the KIA or Killed in Action memorial, and around $11,000 is still needed to have that installed.
